433 Eros

Short answer: 433 Eros is a near-Earth asteroid about 34 by 11 by 11 kilometers, discovered in 1898. NASA's NEAR Shoemaker spacecraft orbited it in 2000 and landed on it on February 12, 2001, the first landing on an asteroid.

Manhattan is about 21.6 kilometers (13.4 miles) long, so Eros would overhang it. The footage shows an animated Eros hovering over a landscape for scale.
